We first became involved with the Nellie McClung Foundation back in late 2015, with the production of Let Them Howl, a dramatic reenactment of the mock-parliament which featured Nellie McClung and her peers in the Political Equality League. Just a few months later, we were lucky enough to be the primary photographers for the Nellie McClung Foundation’s Centennial Gala, celebrating 100 years of Manitoba women getting the right to vote. Although there were many later, more inclusive achievements to be made (like the vote for ALL women), this was a huge step at the time, and what better way to celebrate the 100 year anniversary than with an elaborate gala at the RBC Convention Centre! Always a pleasure to work with Events by Emma, Academy Florist, Canadian Event Production Services and Tripwire Media Group, just to name a few of the fabulous people that helped make such a grand night possible!
